Our Mission
OrizPDF was created with a simple belief: essential PDF tools should be free, fast, and private. Too many PDF websites upload your files to unknown servers, bombard you with ads, or lock features behind paywalls. We decided to build something different.
How It Works
Every tool on OrizPDF runs entirely in your web browser using modern JavaScript libraries and WebAssembly. When you upload a PDF, it never leaves your device — all the processing happens locally. This means:
- Complete privacy — we literally cannot see your files
- No waiting — no upload/download round-trip to a server
- No limits — process as many files as you want
- Works offline — once loaded, tools work without internet
Technology
OrizPDF is built with modern web technologies:
- Astro 6 — for blazing-fast static site generation
- React — for interactive tool interfaces
- Tailwind CSS v4 — for beautiful, responsive design
- pdf-lib — for PDF creation and manipulation
- pdfjs-dist — for PDF rendering and preview
- Tesseract.js — for optical character recognition
- Puter.js — for AI-powered features
